Benjamin Jolley is a third-generation independent community pharmacist practicing at the oldest continuously operating pharmacy in Salt Lake City, Jolley's Compounding Pharmacy. In 2025, he became the most prominent advocate for structural separation of PBMs and pharmacies by speaking to a crowd of more than 20,000 people about the abuses imposed upon small business pharmacies and the general public by the vertically integrated monopolist PBMs. Benjamin is a Senior Fellow for Healthcare Policy at the American Economic Liberties Project. Erin L. Albert is Chief Pharmacy Relations, Network, and Privacy at Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drugs Company, PBC. She is both a pharmacist and attorney. Prior to joining Mark Cuban, she worked in a variety of pharmacy roles, including pharmacy benefits, taught pharmacy students at Butler University Collect of Pharmacy and Health Sciences for over a decade, served as a director of content for two different ACPE accredited Continuing Pharmacy Education programs, consulted in both fee-for-service and managed care Medicaid, worked in pharmaceutical medical marketing-and in community practice pharmacy as a staff pharmacist and pharmacist-in-charge. She is also a freelance writer and author of over a dozen books, and occasional podcaster.

Benjamin Jolley
PharmD, Senior Fellow Healthcare, American Economic Liberties Project
Benjamin Jolley is a third-generation independent community pharmacist practicing at the oldest continuously operating pharmacy in Salt Lake City, Jolley's Compounding Pharmacy. In 2025, he became the most prominent advocate for structural separation of PBMs and pharmacies by speaking to a crowd of more than 20,000 people about the abuses imposed upon small business pharmacies and the general public by the vertically integrated monopolist PBMs. Benjamin is a Senior Fellow for Healthcare Policy at the American Economic Liberties Project.
